Foot-Canada: Cavalry beaten on the road, Mikael Cantave decisive passer and expelled from the match

By Christian Bendy Calixte

Opposed to Football Club Forge yesterday Saturday, Cavalry FC lowered their flag far from their camp (2-1) on the occasion of the 24th day of the Canadian Premier League. A match full of twists with 3 red cards including that of Mikael Cantave at the end of the match.

David Choiniere from the 10th minute and Aboubakar Sissoko in the 52nd minute allowed Forge FC to lead (2-0) in the match. However, the visitors were going to reduce the mark to (2-1) after the hour mark (63rd) by Ali Musse well served by Mikael Cantave who came into play after the break (46th), who offered his second caviar this season.

The latter was going to spoil his good comeback by receiving two yellow cards (72nd and 90 + 5), synonymous with expulsion for fault and dispute. Note that Kyle Bekker for Forge FC and Joseph Di Chiara also left the match for gross negligence.

It is therefore an eighth defeat of the season for Calvary FC which drops to third place in the standings with 38 points, ahead of its opponent of the day. Cantave and its partners will have to do everything to keep their place in the top 4 to play the playoffs at the end of the regular season in exactly four days.
