France is off to a good start

The U18 national team opened the 15th Limoges Tournament victoriously by dominating Estonia (3-0) on Wednesday. Next opponent Scotland, Friday (7:00 p.m.).

Three goals, three points and the first place at the end of the opening day, France scored from the start of its territory in an International Tournament of Limoges Lafarge where it has already triumphed eight times in fourteen editions (2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019).

Bernard Diomede’s players thus disposed of Estonia (3-0) late Wednesday afternoon on the lawn of Beaublanc. A penalty from Saint-Etienne striker Ayman Aiki, transformed from the left, gave them the advantage in the 33rd minute (1-0). SaĆ«l Kumbedi Nseke, the OL defender, doubled this lead in the second half (2-0, 67th), before Mokrane Bentoumi, the Le Havre midfielder, completed the French success in added time (3-0, 90th + 3).

It is now up to the Bleuets to confirm this good initial result against Scotland, their second opponent, on Friday (7:00 p.m.) in the same Beaublanc stadium.
