If the prospect of a competitor to Meta Quest 2 is interesting, unfortunately it is not currently planned that the Legion VR700 be marketed outside of China. Indeed, the headset is currently only offered for sale on Chinese sites, such as that of Lenovo, cited in source below.
At launch, the headset also displays a very limited list of games, with only 25 titles on the clock, including Angry Birds VR, arizona sunshine and Fruit Ninja VR.
The only point where the Legion VR700 does better than the Quest 2 is its price. It is offered at a starting price of 3,000 yuan, or 430 euros in our currency, which is 100 euros less than the new price applied to the Quest 2 with 256 GB of storage.
Unfortunately and until proven otherwise, the Legion VR700 will remain warmly in China. At the time of writing, Lenovo’s German agency has in any case not received any information that could suggest otherwise.
