SYNOVO GROUP CONTINUES ITS DEVELOPMENT IN CANADASynovo Group has been developing medical transport management solutions for 9 years, aimed at both medical transport companies and health establishments, public and private. Solicited 2 years ago by a Quebec client, Synovo Group decided to adapt its software solutions to meet the functional, pricing and legal requirements of the Canadian market. It was with the aim of marketing its French solutions across the Atlantic that the company then founded Synovo Group Canada Inc. In order to increase its development on the Canadian market, it has just acquired the software publisher Sym which achieves a turnover of 1.5 million Canadian dollars. The company has also recruited 4 additional employees, bringing to 9 the number of current employees of the new subsidiary Groupe Synovo Sym Inc. “The acquisition of Sym gives a real boost to our development on the Quebec market and more widely in Canada. Thanks to our excellent knowledge of the healthcare market and our innovative software solutions, we respond to a growing demand from public and private professionals in the management of healthcare transport. explains Jérémy WIES, President of Synovo Group.
THE ALSACIAN SME IN STRONG GROWTH SINCE ITS CREATIONSynovo’s story begins almost 10 years ago. After the creation of a first company (New Web) aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their IT development, the Alsatian Jérémy WIES specializes in the health sector. Indeed, he notes that the existing software solutions do not meet the needs and constraints specific to ambulance companies. The young student then decided to pitch his idea of software dedicated to medical transport during the Start-up Weekend Strasbourg, accompanied by Guillaume Philipp and Michel Lacombe who would become his partners. A project that wins the vote and allows them to be accompanied by the Alsatian incubator SEMIA. In 2013, they founded Synovo. “We have decided to put our IT skills at the service of medical transport professionals. Thanks to our various innovative business software, paramedics can, for example, optimize their rounds for better patient care or better regulate pre-hospital emergencies” adds Jérémy WIES. In 2019, the 3 partners made a strategic shift by bringing together Synovo and New Web under the Synovo Group entity. In the continuity of this merger, the managers are embarking on a process of obtaining ISO 27001 and Health Data Host (HDS) certifications. Since its creation in 2013, the company has continued to grow and innovate. With its 55 employees – including 10 recruited since January 2022 – and more than 1,300 customers, Synovo Group recorded a turnover of €4 million in 2021, up 30% compared to 2020 and plans to exceed the €6M in turnover in 2022. This growth dynamic should be confirmed over the next few years, following the recent acquisition of Sym.
