The winners of the Visa She’s Next program in Morocco were announced at an awards ceremony in partnership with Societe Generale Morocco. Five Moroccan women-led businesses received a $10,000 grant and one year of marketing coaching from IFundWomen to support, grow and expand their businesses, as well as media exposure and networking opportunities.
The five winners were selected from more than 110 entries submitted by Moroccan women entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors, from textiles to education, agribusiness to professional services, beauty and wellness. The winners were selected based on the evolution of their entrepreneurial journey, the strength of their company’s business plan, their digital presence and their ability to solve problems.
The jury was composed of Hajjami Asmae, Country Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Société Générale in Morocco, Benbashir Mehdi, Deputy Managing Director – Société Générale in Morocco, Sami Romdhane, Country Manager – Visa Maroc, Nadia Lambaraa, Digital Partnerships -Visa Morocco and Rabia El Alama, General Manager – AMCHAM Morocco.
By participating in the program, all women entrepreneurs have had access to practical insights from female leaders in the public and private sectors, as well as valuable tools and educational resources – including Visa Practical Business Skills Program – that they need to grow and develop their businesses.
